Vote for your favorite here: https://tally.so/r/nPrdLQ
Detailed overview of the candidates:
What is your artist name? | What would you create for 225k+ sats for the Public Domain? | What format(s) would you deliver your work in? | Proof of (Previous) Work |
Maali Marvin | A 160 page Bitcoin book. | https://hackernoon.com/u/maken8 | |
Rustypuppy | I will write and illustrate a book called “The Wandering Portal Emporium: Invitation and Introduction.” Similar in concept to “Thieves’ World” created by Robert Asprin, “Wild Cards” by George R. R. Martin, or the Dungeons & Dragons Open Gaming license, this book defines a fantasy, shared-world setting. Structured like a travel guide, I will create locations, characters, environment specifics, and information on how a creator can use this book as a reference if they wish to create related open source works. A PDF of a detailed proposal is available here: https://drive.proton.me/urls/Y0MG2BYS1G#UEdvKrsHdt2z | 8″ x 10″ (20.32 cm x 25.4 cm) PDF. Mixed media art will be created on art boards and photographed to be incorporated into the PDF. Digital art will be created in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop and incorporated into the PDF. | Writing samples PDF (short form, long form) – https://drive.proton.me/urls/Y09ZNX7FAW#uyaOuclyPRCx Art examples PDF – https://drive.proton.me/urls/6C7HSH9A6M#mVxTyRw9H3Xv Project completion – 2 self-published microfiction collections – https://heidi2524.com/stories |
mx12.Art | A short, illustrated story about Bitcoin impact, its future, or even a dystopian world where it’s the last free currency. Released for free as a PDF and a physical print with donations accepted | JPEG for digital use and physical prints for collectors or exhibitions | Art thread 1 bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5362071.0 Art thread 2 bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5527107.msg64973953#msg64973953 Lead illustrator einundzwanzig Magazin: https://einundzwanzig.shop/ Website: mx12.art |
KN6ZZV | I would create an original, encrypted poem, musical phrase and accompanied art work. Deciphering the code embedded within the poem, music and artwork would grant the reader 50% of the winnings recieved via this contest. | Ideally, I would like to deliver an epub file that contains the digital artwork, musical phrase and poem. The work would include a short list of free e-readers capable of rendering the material correctly. | https://coastalunderground.wixsite.com/astralcenter/post/_tomato-alley https://coastalunderground.wixsite.com/astralcenter/post/space-cadillac https://m.soundcloud.com/jeffyspaghetti/pegasusjam |
StackinBeets | Music: Ambient, classical piano, or a melodic electronic track. | .mp3 | Wavlake.com/esuna |
Duncan Cary Palmer | A work of poetry in the classic, time-honored and renowned form made most famous by Bard William Shakespeare, i.e, a sonnet. My sonnet will celebrate the dynamic intersection of bitcoin with the teachings of Jesus, the anointed God/Man and Creator of all things. It will dramatically focus on bitcoin’s role in advancing the Kingdom of God in a world deeply troubled by evil. | I will submit my sonnet as a text file with embedded markdown formatting, and also as a PDF file, and possibly also as a photographic image of the sonnet in a curated font printed on textured paper. | Please browse this online library of my currently published poetry: https://peakd.com/library/@creatr/poetry And may I please direct your particular attention to the “Sonnets” shelf: https://peakd.com/poetry/@creatr/sonnets |
Tynka | A set of 3 illustrations for children about Bitcoin, plus colouring pages. Illustrations can be downloaded and printed as posters or as a booklet (I will provide instructions), to be used as a picture book. Designs will include white space for children to contribute to the art, or for parents to write a story around the images. | Downloadable PDF, ready for print | I’m a picturebook maker and illustrator. www.martynabielecka.com |
